Heanon & Nakeesha Tate
Heanon Tate accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 13 and became a member of the New Jerusalem Evangelistic Church in Shelby, North Carolina (Bishop Zavier H. Terrell, Founder/Pastor). Nakeesha Tate accepted Christ as her savior at 11 years under the leadership of Bishop Ronald E. Brown, at Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Temples in Orangeburg, SC. Heanon’s formative years of education, he received a full athletic scholarship to attend South Carolina State University (Orangeburg, South Carolina) to participate in Track & Field and Football. While residing in Orangeburg, he attended Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Temple where the pastor and founder are Bishop Ronald E. Brown.
He was a faithful member and served in various capacities including Minister, Youth Pastor and Elder. His wife Nakeesha’s formative years of education, were at Claflin University where she received a full volleyball scholarship. She was born and raised in Faith Tabernacle Deliverance Temple and served in many capacities including Youth Minister, and mentoring the young women. In October 2002, the Lord assigned Pastor’s Tate to the town of Irmo, South Carolina. They started a bible study in his home, which later grew to cause the need for a larger facility. The bible study was a move to a community center, which had a tremendous impact on both the young and old. In April 2003, Pastor’s Tate official opened the Inner Courts Ministries continuing to teach the People of God the Principles of God.
The ministry has the strength of the five-fold for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of Christ’s Body. The doors of Inner Courts Central Florida was opened in June of 2008, and in September of 2009, they were awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant were they serve 75 middle and high at-risk students. Pastor Tate has received a mandate from God to minister and speaks the truth. Along with that mandate, God has instructed him to tell everyone that he can. With this in mind, Pastor‘s Tate has committed to building and developing men and women of God that would exceed them (A father desire is that the child would do greater). Pastor’s Tate shares the ministry with their three children Sarene, Auden, and Aria.
